Thanks to your suggestions, I have just set up a message board for Vinyl Collective. It is a very simple message board and I made the executive decision to have just one board for all posts so that the board may be more active. I made a post of basic guidelines but other than those suggestions, the board is fair game. Please stop by, set up a log in, and start sharing your thoughts. Vinyl Collective Message Board 

ISIS “OCEANIC” 2xLP

We should be getting copies of “Oceanic” in today. This is a repress of the landmark album and as with all Isis vinyl, this one will be gone soon. From what I understand, I will only be getting copies on black vinyl.

Rocky Votolato “The Brag & Cuss” LP (black/red vinyl)

This is being pressed on 3 different varieties: black/red vinyl; blue/black/green vinyl, and 180 gram vinyl; for whatever reason, it has been decided by the label and distro to not label the vinyl and to not allow us to order individual colors. This is odd as the label have previously been the best about labeling their different colors. We are going to make our best efforts to have the distributor pull the vinyl separately for us and with luck, we will be getting all three varieties. We will be opening up the vinyl to confirm the color and weight and if you order more than one copy, we will do our very best to offer you each of the varieties. No guarantees at this point, but we will do our best.

The new album is great, but I must say that Makers is still my favorite. Here is an mp3 from the Brag and Cuss. The album is growing on me though and there are definitely some gems. Rocky is definitely embracing his Country influences a bit more as there are songs with Accordion, Steel Guitar, and Piano. Great stuff.
