After a ton of submissions, we have a definitive winner to our Vinyl Collective / Punknews.org contest. We had given the clue that there were 11 records that you could identify, but what do you know, more than a handful of people identified 12 records. I did not even notice the 12th record and would have never guessed that so many people would have figured all 12 out. Although we had a handful correctly identify all 12 records, 1 person stood out from the crowd as they not only got all 12 right, but they correctly guessed what color 9 of the 12 records were on.
The winner, Evan Weiss, did an amazing job. Congratulations. You will be receiving a $100 shopping spree at Vinyl Collective. (side note: Evan is in the Progress who put out their latest album on Negative Progression).
I have uploaded a copy of the photo we used for the contest, but this time, I put numbers next to each of the 12 records. Click the link below after taking a look at the photo to see all of the correct answers.
Thanks to everyone who participated and thanks to Punknews for hosting this contest. It was a lot of fun.
