So I whipped up a new page on the Vinyl Collective site dedicated to keeping all of you updated with pre-orders and when they are expected to come in. I realize that there have so many new pre-orders announced recently that it is really tough to keep it all in order. I will try to updates this page every week and when I do, I will make mention of on the message board and the VC site. Please offer feedback as I want it to work for everyone. The first of five limited edition releases from the “Square Dance Series” country 7” collection by your favorite all-star punk cover band. A down-home tribute to Ms. Dolly “Islands in the Stream” Parton featuring an unreleased B-side from the Love Their Country recording sessions.

I have been trying my damnedest to get a test pressing contest with the fat releases, but they keep turning me down. With luck one day it might happen!

mewithoutYou Brother, Sister LP

I am excited to finally be getting in some mewithoutyou vinyl. mewithoutyou are just one of those genre-bending bands that need to be hear on vinyl. The only bad side to all of this is that had I gotten in touch with Tooth and Nail about 6 months earlier, all 3 mewithoutyou albums would be coming out through Vinyl Collective as a box set. Oh well. At least “Brother, Sister” will be coming out on wax and from what I have heard their other albums will soon be coming out.

We just got in a ton of rad vinyl, many on some very cool colors. Note that we also got in some of the BYO colored vinyl for the Hot Water / Leaterface split, the NOFX / Rancid Split, the Anti-Flag/Bouncing Souls split, and the Briefs “Steal Yer Heart”. The prices are pretty pricey as BYO charges me over double for colored what they charge for black.

We also got in 2 new No Idea releases by the Young Livers and Off with Their Heads. We also got in a ton of new pressings from Hot Water, Planes, Combatwoundedveteran, I Hate Myself, and much much more. Some of the restocks came in really small quantities.
