Photos of Blacklisted, Set Your Goals, Throwdown, and Walls of Jericho

We just got in a boat load of stuff including the new album by Blacklisted, the repress of Set Your Goals, and the double vinyl pressings of Throwdown and Walls of Jericho. We got 2 different sets of colors on the Walls of Jericho in case some of you have been looking for the Green / White.

Restocks: Bane, Converge, Mu330, MLIW, and Tuesday

Writing up the title of this post made me think how cool it is that we can carry such a wide range of genres. In this small restock alone, we have hardcore, ska, and emo. As a person who doesn’t care about genres but instead music that sounds good to my ears, I enjoy carrying a wide range of styles. Finally got back in the Converge and Bane titles and a new color for us on the Modern Life is Ware 7″.

Photos of Drag the River, Minus the Bear, and Vinyl Collective slipmats

We got these in on Friday, but since we were painting all day, your orders for them will go out today. The Minus the Bear slipmats are moving fast so don’t snooze on that one. The VC one is going pretty quickly, too.

We also just started carrying Kiss of Death slipmats which look bad ass, too. That is the one I have on my record player (for what that’s worth (nothing)).

Minus the Bear, Drag the River, and Vinyl Collective slipmats

After seeing how nice the Kiss of Death slipmats turned out, I knew we had to get some made. I asked Minus the Bear and Drag the River to be our guinea pigs and made some Vinyl Collective ones, too. Get em while you can. We only made a hundred of each and only 50 of each color on the Minus the Bear. Minus the Bear will have them on the road with them in case we sell out of them.

I am considering contacting a lot of other bands and labels and making quite a bit more slipmats. If they were limited edition, would you collect them?

Pre-order : PAULSON "All at Once" dbl LP (3 different colors)

PAULSON “All at Once” dbl LP red/black haze vinyl

My buddy Jason White has started a label, Cavity Records, and will be putting out the Paulson album, “All At Once” on a limited edition double LP. 3 different colors:

500 Solid Red
350 Blue/Green Splatter
150 Red/Black Haze

We should have records in by the end of April. And there is a small chance that we will be getting a test pressing for this one. Will keep you posted.

Teenage Bottlerocket "A-bomb" and "Another Way" (a usps miracle)

TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET “A-Bomb” 7″ blue vinyl

Teenage Bottlerocket “Another Way” LP red vinyl

I went to my PO Box and much to my surprise, the box that the Teenage Bottlerocket guys sent me over a month ago (February 15th to be exact) finally showed up. Somehow it took over a month for the box to travel from Laramie, Wyoming, to Denver, Colorado. It is only a 2 hour drive so something is rotten in Denmark. I almost think that the box ended up on the LOST island in some weird time vortex, but the postal employee just said the box was hidden under some weird nook. This makes sense that this is the same reason some records get stuck at certain processing centers for unusually long times. Bastards!

I am really excited the box showed up because, we got in the new repress of “A-bomb” on blue vinyl and some of the last copies of “Another Way”. I just spoke to Ray from the band and he said that they only have a handful of both records and should be pretty much done by the end of this tour which seems to be going incredibly well. I will say that they absolutely rocked our Vinyl Collective / Suburban Home sxsw party and blew me away. Teenage Bottlerocket are the greatest pop-punk band playing right now and it doesn’t surprise me that there are bands out there that have had to resort to cheap shots on their blogs because they must honestly be threatened by how great they are.

So get your Bottlerocket vinyl while you still can and know that the guys will soon be in Denver to record their half of their Under the Influence split 7″. Did you hear yet who is doing the other side? I am excited to say that the Ergs! will be doing the flipside. Stay tuned, i am stoked!

PO/TP: Four Year Strong "Rise or Die Trying" LP 180 gram purple vinyl

Four Year Strong “Rise or Die Trying” LP 180 gram purple vinyl

The Good folks at Academy Fight Song were so nice and generous, they offered us a test pressing for the pre-order of Four Year Strong. Academy Fight Song previously put out vinyl for White Rabbits and Ris Paul Ric which we also carry. Read below for more info on the release.

Limited edition 180 gram heavy virgin vinyl. Solid purple colored vinyl (limited to 500!)

Born and bred in Worcester, Massachusetts, Four Year Strong blend catchy pop guitars with chugging breakdowns to mind bands like New Found Glory and Lifetime, while adding elements of hardcore influenced by bands like He Is Legend and Gorilla Biscuits. With synthesizer overlay as a finishing touch to their trademark pop-core sound, Four Year Strong truly carved their niche in the genre.

The release should be shipping in early April and we will announce the test pressing winner towards the end of April. Good luck!
