VC Cooperative Label possibility of more shares (under review)

Friends, I am currently looking at people who bought more than one share, and also looking at my budget for this project and hope to offer more units of involvement soon. Even if we can offer a handful of more units, I don’t think we will be able to accommodate everyone. I am happy to take suggestions on what we can do to remedy this situation, but there were just so many more people interested in this than I could have imagined. Please give me a little bit of time to figure this out.
I am sorry that so many of you were unable to buy shares and hope to take care of at least a few of you.
The person who claims to have bought 5 shares to sell on Ebay, this will not happen. Their units of involvement will be relinquished, the minute they go on Ebay. When someone decides to stop being involved with the Cooperative, they will forfeit the unit back to the Cooperative and will be refunded for their money. We mentioned more than once that only one share per person.

Either way, im kinda mad at this. I stayed awake after our trip to hawaii and got online around 7am, nothing. I was hoping to see it. But nothing. I go out to eat, come back, nothing. Then i watch tv and take a shower, and they sell out. Dammit.

i’m looking to hopefully get one. i never thought this would sell out so fast. it seriously, took the time for me to drop a deuce and for me to get back to my computer for this to sell out. never ever thought that would happen. well, anyways good luck with this.

Hi, my son (19 yr old Jonathan) asked me to try to get him an allocation of one unit. He’s at work no computer available. I tried at 5.00 UK time and could not get on the site, it was so frustrating - hey ho, a further allocation to Guys like Johnny who really believe in your approach would be great.

It’s like when Homer tried meeting Mr. T at the mall and by the time he got there he was gone and the kid didn’t know if he’d be back again.
But seriously, I’m so bummed right now. I went to sleep giddy with anticipation to buy a unit today. My drive to work landed right in the middle of the sale.
More units, soon?
Maybe another altogether different group?
Instead of growing out the number of limited albums to accommodate the growing involvement base why not just start more than one group? Each one with different people?

Hey Virgil,
Man I’m bummed. I was there this moring trying to grab a share of this thing. Unfortunately, I had ONE(I guess lots of others didn’t see that part) share in my cart but when I went to pay for it all I got was an error message.
Anyway, I hope this works out well for everyone. It’s a very cool and interesting experiment. I’d love to be a part of it if and when any shares become available.

If offering more shares, is there any way you guys can figure out who had shares in their shopping cart, and tried to check out but got the error when trying to complete payment?

i lost my connection this morning while filling out the orderform, and when i got back online, it was sold out.
i love this idea though and wish the best on this project!

I’m sorry you’re already having to deal with nonsense - this offering is easily the coolest thing I’ve heard of all year and I am incredibly happy to be one of the investors. I hope the 200 number holds, though; any more and the ability to make a profit from each release (and thus keep the label spinning) is significantly diminished.
One forum poster suggested a waiting list in the event that any duplicate orders are cancelled or anyone decides to sell their share. That sounds fair. Not sure how you’d generate the list, though.

Yes I never thought they would go this quick so I waited to get to work to try and get one form the time i drove from my apt to work they were sold out. I would definately want to get in on this as well.

Yeah, I tried as well…the store server was slow and raised some errors. I actually made it to the checkout and pay screen before death. Great idea - hope to get in on it.

easy solution would have been to make people have to log in with their message board password and username as a surprise when they went to purchase. that would have weeded out a lot of people who are just doing this to try and make a quick buck as opposed to people that were buying because they care.

damn. i didn’t even know about this. that’s what i get for not checking my email or this site enough. i hope for more “units” in the future. definitely interested
