1969’s (Butch Walker, Michael Guy Chislett, Darren Dodd) album “Maya” is now available on vinyl on 2 different colors. I don’t really know much about how this band formed but I do find it a bit odd that Butch Walker and the singer of Academy Is would end up being in a band together. Our friends at Vinyl Summer released the vinyl which is limited to 500 copies split between the 2 colors.

heads up: Michael Guy Chislett was originally in Butch Walker’s band the Let’s Go Out Tonites before he joined TAI…thus the connection…and for the record: William Beckett is the lead singer of TAI…Michael is their guitarist
