Holy represses Batman, our friends at Art of the Underground have repressed the Ghost Mice / Andrew Jackson Jihad split LP and there are a lot of variants. We received a packing slip that said 20 Blue/Green, 20 Teal, 20 Red, and 20 Purple but as we opened up all the records, we found so many varieties. Some we only got a couple of, some we got 20 of. It is a little confusing and know that these are the colors we are calling these records. We still have some on black from the first press, too.

While you are at it, make sure you pick up a copy Chris Clavin and the repress of Andrew Jackson Jihad!

and because Var has tendency to ramble and get off on tangents, our interview is almost an hour long. Because of the length, the guys are going to do a regular podcast and then the interview with Var will be its own podcast. Both podcasts should be posted in the morning and I highly recommend checking them out. Var expands on everything from 180 and soon a 210 gram vinyl for Reinventing Axl Rose, records he would have loved to put out, under appreciated No Idea bands, policy on Test Pressings, his first records purchased, and lots more. It was really great talking to Var about these things.

Matt and Marie from Ghost Buffalo‘s Cat, Little Bee, was recently found in their bedroom about 3 weeks ago with her stomach sliced wide open. They still do not know what happened to her. After 3 surgeries and many trips to the vet she is finally recovering, but all of those expenses added up and contrary to what might be assumed, Matt and Marie are not wealthy.

Because we absolutely love Matt and Marie and want to help out, we are donating this special Ghost Buffalo deluxe set and the proceeds from the Ebay Auction will go to them to help some of their Vet bills.

Our friends at Recess should be picking up this week from his pressing plant a brand new Pinhead Gunpowder 7″ and a brand new Banana’s LP. Todd will also be picking up the repress of “Boogada Boogada Boogada”. So if the plant actually delivers all of these records, next week, we should be seeing a lot of great records.

So get on this while you can. The Pinhead 7″ is out of an edition of 500, todd was hoping for blue vinyl, but since the plant has been so backed up, he said if there is a color that gets this record pressed sooner, put it on that color so we will find out what it ends up being.

Todd has also been kind enough to give us a test pressing of the Bananas vinyl. Good luck friends.

Every once in a while Andy comes up with an idea so great, we just have to stop what we are doing and commend him for his flash of brilliance. Today was one of those days. You see, the other day Seabron went to the grocery store to pick up some sodas and brought back some root beer. Andy turned to us about a half an hour ago and said, after I am done with this email, I am gonna stop by the store and get some Ice Cream so we can make Root Beer Floats. Fuck yeah! He did just that and everyone excluding Justin who had just eaten some old ass ice cream left in the freezer treated themselves a tasty float.

In a world where are all killing ourselves to live, you have to find some happy time whether it be a float or some other treat.

Alright friends, here is the latest and greatest about Lawrence Arms. We got in all the vinyl and all of the silkscreened jackets. We will start shipping the individual records (of which we now have some of all guided tour, ghost stories, and cocktail and dreams available right now in our store). As you can see everything turned out nicely. You might see that there are two jackets at the very bottom with different color paper. I might be wrong, but I think only 1, maybe a couple were ever printed this way. Eric? Well because this is the case, I haven’t decided if we are gonna give these to 2 lucky purchasers of the vinyl or hold them for Logan’s college fund.

As far as the deluxe sets, Eric at I Heart U has printed all of the shirts, buttons, and coozies (yes, there are 2 coozies, not one like we originally thought) and those shipped to us today. I was told by my pint glass vendors is that I should be able to pick them up on Thursday. If all goes well, we should have those shipping out to all of you by early next week.

So make sure you pick up Ghost Stories, Guided Tour, and Cocktails and Dreams while you can. We only got 40 more of each and those should be gone today!

Because some of you were talking about the new Cloak/Dagger LP, I decided to contact Grave Mistake. I am really impressed by their vast vinyl catalog of punk rock. If you like bands like Cloak/Dagger and 86 Menality and Down to Nohting, check out their records. They have some great stuff.

Mutant Pop is coming back with a force not seen by a label in some time. They are out there telling the world that Pop-punk 7″s are the future after having been our past. Check out the list which includes a number of pre-orders that should be here within the next 4 to 5 weeks (some will be in as early as next week). Jump on the new cover for the D4 more songs about bubblegum 7″ as the 150 we sold of the old covers went lightning fast. And I recommend taking at least a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the Catalogs, Loblaws, Peabodys, Connie Dungs, and the Impulse International.

YES, the D4 7″ cover looks oddly familiar, but it is different. Tim had intended to take a brand new photo, but opted to keep the OG photo sprucing it up a bit.
