One of my favorite aspects of this year’s Fest was meeting a lot of the folks who I have had the opportunity of meeting through Vinyl Collective. Kylewilliam is one of those people. He is in the very rocking band, IMadeThisMistake, he runs the very helpful download portal, Vinyldownloads.com, and he also runs one of the most interesting D.I.Y. punk labels, Cottage Records. From putting out releases for his own band to unique punk offerings from Mose Giganticus, they now have 2 new releases and a redo of a past release.
Knock Galley West reside in Valdosta, Georgia (same town as Ninja Gun) and play punk rock/pyschobilly/zombie rock. Definitely worth giving a listen to. The Two Funerals call Virginia home and sound like they were influenced greatly by many of the Northwest riot girl acts like Bratmobile and Bikini Kill. Kylewilliam said they had a great performance at the Fest, too bad I missed them. There are 10 sets of all 4 colors and the first 4 purchasers will receive a Test/Fest press in addition to the set of all 4.
And IMadeThisMistake’s debut album, “It’s Okay” got a makeover with a brand new cover (maybe for the Fest?). The cover was done by friend Nate Rainey and is ultra limited. I guess we only have 25 on the way to us. Get em while you can.
Kylewilliam is one of the good guys, please check out his acts, and consider supporting his releases.

The Panther cover is out of 50. I got #5 at the Fest.
