Jr. Juggernaut’s entire set at Suburban Home’s 13th Anniversary was recorded live and the guys enjoyed it so much, they decided to put it out digitally. Being a member of the audience that night, I can attest to them playing one kick ass set. Even if you weren’t there, I highly recommend you check this out. They have the tracks for sale on their myspace page. Here is what Mike had to say about the 4 song release:
Rock ‘n’ Roll. Played Raw. Recorded without us even knowing it.
That’s how this live EP came to be. After our set at the Suburban Home Records 13th Anniversary party in Denver, the sound man Brad Nelson handed us a CD and told us he’d recorded our set.
Mixed on the fly live while we played. After our set was done, so were the tracks. No mixing after the fact. No overdubs. No nuthin’. And that’s why we like it so much.
Included here are 4 songs from the set. Two from our debut LP “Ghost Poison” and two brand new tracks never before released. 20 minutes of rock to blast in your car or home. (Please don’t just listen to this on your computer. Jr. Juggernaut can not be contained within those tiny speakers.)
We had a blast rocking Denver for the first time and hope you’ll enjoy experiencing the show again with us. Without further ado, here’s TURNED BLUE: Live in Denver.
While we are all talking about Jr. Juggernaut, make sure you have their rocking album, t-shirt, and pint glass. Damn, I love this band!
