Spring Cleaning FEAR BEFORE LP Sale (Art Damage, Always Open Mouth)

Spring Cleaning FEAR BEFORE LP Sale (Art Damage, Always Open Mouth)

I forgot to post a sale yesterday (and maybe Friday, too), but here is a really good one. For the price of “The Always Open Mouth”, you get a free copy of “Art Damage”. $14.99 for 2 Fear Before the March of Flames’ albums on vinyl. Both records are quickly becoming extinct so get these while the price is nice. We only have 25 sets for sale. We will soon be working on releasing the latest Fear Before album which we are excited to have received the license for. Stay tuned.

Quick update about Ben Weasel the brain that wouldn't die

I was told to take down the pre-order for Ben Weasel’s latest album, “The Brain that Wouldn’t Die” today. Sorry friends, but we will be able to post them again in late May/early June. The release date isn’t til June 23rd and so it was thought that we should wait til closer to the release date to post the pre-order and begin shipping records. Sorry that this contradicts what I had said on VC and on our message board late last week. Mike Park did say that we will be able to ship out the pre-ordered copies before anyone else has copies so that is nice.

If you have not yet pre-ordered it, both Asian Man and VC will have pre-orders posted back up shortly.

GOLDEN CITY "Golden City" 10" (ex Christie Front Drive)

GOLDEN CITY “Golden City” 10″ (ex Christie Front Drive)

Christie Front Drive may have never been a commercial success, but they influenced countless bands, and helped get Jimmy Eat World signed to their first major label contract. I actually used to book shows for CFD at Club 156 in Boulder back in the mid 90′s and remember doing one with them and Jimmy Eat World. I actually told Jimmy Eat World that they were good for an Emo band because back then, I was all about the pop-punk. It is funny to look back on those days and think that almost 15 years later, Christie Front Drive are still worth listening to. I actually saw them play at Denver Fest 2 years ago and they were so good.

Well, Golden City features Eric Richter from Christie Front Drive and I have yet to put the record on, but I have heard nothing but great things. If you are a fan of CFD, I recommend you check out Golden City.

DOOMRIDERS "Black Thunder" LP (5 colors)

DOOMRIDERS “Black Thunder” LP Red vinyl
DOOMRIDERS “Black Thunder” LP Marble Mix vinyl
DOOMRIDERS “Black Thunder” LP Deep Gold vinyl
DOOMRIDERS “Black Thunder” LP Deep Green vinyl
DOOMRIDERS “Black Thunder” LP Amber Mix vinyl

From the label: Boston’s DOOMRIDERS are as sonically antisocial and undeniably unforgettable as they come. The demon child of their collective unhealthy obsession with Classic Rock, Hardcore, and Skateboarding, DOOMRIDERS are a rare beast in today’s music world. Comprised of members of OLD MAN GLOOM, CONVERGE, DISAPPEARER, CAST IRON HIKE, and more, their soulful, no-frills approach conjures the spirits of THIN LIZZY, ENTOMBED, and damn near every evil in between. One hell of a rebellious and exciting musical ride.

this repress was pressed on 5 different colors which we posted photos of earlier today.

Restocks: Nothing Nice to Say by Mitch Clem

MITCH CLEM “Nothing Nice to Say” BOOK

We haven’t had this in stock for quite some time and today, we received a nice, little box full of them. If you don’t know who Mitch Clem is, I will assume you are new to the Vinyl Collective site as Mitch and Amanda have been responsible for all of the Under the Influence 7″ art we have done so far and have done an amzing job so far. This is Mitch’s first book and I think everyone here should own a copy. Support our favorite punk rock cartoonist.
