There is no doubt that Sound Study Recordings is one of those labels we all need to be keeping an eye on. Not only do they have a great series of live 7″s, the Live at the Atlantic 7″ series which we have a brand new one to announce (Off With Their Heads), but they are also putting out great and diverse bands from their side of the world.

This time around, we have Averkiou which SSR describes as shoegazey, stoner-pop anthems from Gainesville. The 7″ comes with a download card that includes the two songs on the 7″ and a bonus acoustic track! 7″ is out of an edition of 500 (200 baby blue, 300 clear)

We also have City of Ships which SSR describe as Intense and atmospheric, melodic and heavy. The pressing is out of 500 over 2 colors (200 clear with maroon haze/300 white).

Last but not least, we have volume 2 of the Live at the Atlantic 7″ series. This time Off With Their Heads played what I expect was a completely ripping set. 2 songs were taken from the live recording for this 7″. The cover art is great. And there is a Vinyl Collective exclusive color (Yellow out of 150, there are 650 green and 200 white). We will have copies of all 3 colors. Off With Their Heads’ fans make sure you jump on the yellow vinyl for the VC exclusive. They will go fast.
