PO: BROADWAY CALLS/ RIOT BEFORE split 7" no idea purple/grey vinyl

BROADWAY CALLS/ RIOT BEFORE split 7″ no idea purple/grey vinyl

Say 10 released this split 7″ a while back, but they had 133 copies without cover sitting around collecting dust. When talking the other day about the Riot Before, this came up in conversation and I mentioned how our good buddy Eric at I Heart U could print up some silk-screened covers and we could sell them as a VC exclusive. We have 125 copies for sale. The color of vinyl span purple to grey like a number of No Idea titles do, but instead of listing all the different colors, we figured we would just list it as No idea Grey/Purple. 2 songs from each band on a release that will be highly sought after down the road. Get one while you can. These will be printed on a mint green silk-screen sleeve

PO: NONE MORE BLACK "This is Satire" LP black vinyl

NONE MORE BLACK “This is Satire” LP black vinyl

The often talked about, long delayed LP by None More Black. Originally this was gonna come with game pieces and a board game, but for some reason, this never happened. If you ask me, this is None More Black’s best album and I highly recommend you get a copy. Most of you already picked up a copy through Sabot (which is pretty much the only way to get a copy on colored vinyl). We have 50 copies coming in and if you don’t get one soon, you will be looking high and low for one. I love this album!

BARRAKUDA MCMURDER "Slow Crawl" 7",Dead Broke Tape Comp Vol 3

BARRAKUDA MCMURDER “Slow Crawl” 7″
V/A “Dead Broke Tape Comp Vol 3″ CASSETTE

From House Party Records about Barrakuda McMurder, “Grath Madden of the Late Great Steinways got sad in 2008 and wrote a million songs, so I recorded some of them by myself, but I can’t play drums, so I threatened the life of Chris Pierce’s baby and so he played drums. Matt Lame drove a car and played some bass. Then I fooled some people into thinking it was a “band,” and, what do you know, here comes a 7″!” Pressing is out of an edition of 500 copies on black vinyl.

Next up is the next volume of the Dead Broke Tape Comp. This volume has tracks by Drunken Boat, Pretty Boy Thorson, Iron Chic, I Farm, Copyrights, Former Cell Mates, and more.

Although we got a lot of the new Victory vinyl, we did not get the Darkest Hour or the Streetlight Manifesto. I expect those will arrive soon.

Stream/Share Fake Problems / Ninja Gun, FP/NG Tour

I wanted to share 2 streams with you today from 2 very incredible bands. The first is Fake Problems “It’s Great to Be Alive”, the 2nd is Ninja Gun “Restless Rubes”. I am putting them together because Fake Problems is taking Ninja Gun out on Tour. We are so excited about this tour (dates below). Rumor has it that both bands will be doing a split 7″ for the tour on Sabot. Ninja Gun recorded a new song that could be one of my favorite NG songs yet.

Check out both streaming players and if you like what you hear, please share the music by embedding the html code into your myspace or blog. Please retweet this post, too. Thanks.

We love Fake Problems, we have for some time now. They were involved with our first ever Under the Influence 7″ w/ Look Mexico. They are great people, and if you have never seen them live, they will rock your socks off. I feel like they are writing better and better music and I think their latest album is by far their best material. Take a listen.

Yes, we are biased, but we think these South Georgian 4 piece are one of the rising stars in music. They write incredible songs that span a number of influences to Classic rock to Punk Rock to Americana. They turn their amps to 11 when they get on stage, and they are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. Coody, their singer, is one of my favorite people and I just hope that people take a chance and check out their album. Yes, their band name isn’t the greatest, but they write honest music pack full of pop sensibilities. Stoked about this tour and about the dates they have in September with Gaslight Anthem, things are slowly moving in a good direction.
