One of the distributors we get a handful of things surprised us this week when they said they had a number of Hex Records titles that they were distributing. I have never had an outlet to get these releases and didn’t know about the Ed Gein or National Acrobat records. Check them out.

Got a box of CDs from Art of the Underground. I really like these guys a lot and am excited to hear the split between Robert Blake and Erik Peterson (of Mischief Brew). The Failure’s Union are also pretty damn good. In addition to the Art of the Underground titles, we got in a CD from Rational Anthem who I still need to check out. Any RA fans out there?

if you haven’t picked up this compilation CD, it is such a cool idea. the packaging consists of what looks to be part of a wood floor. The cool cats at Crafty have given them as gifts for people who have given them a place to stay hence the name, “Thanks for the Floor”. We got some other restocks from Crafty as well an LP by this up and coming band, the Gaslight Anthem.

JON SNODGRASS/ CORY BRANAN T-Shirt

Our own Ralph Eberhard models the shirt he created, the Jon Snodgrass / Cory Branan t-shirt. We just got them in and they are glorious. If you haven’t ordered one yet, do so immediately as they are nearly sold out and at this point, we are not sure if we will be making more. If you have ordered these already, expect them to ship this week.

I LISTEN TO INDEPENDENT MUSIC & DRINK CRAFT BEER T-shirt

For those who keep up with our little label, you probably know that we are almost as passionate about Craft Beer as we are about Independent Music. For those not familiar, Craft Beer refers to the independent beer world that includes breweries like Dogfish Head, Oskar Blues, Goose Island, Great Divide, Odells, Stone Brewery, and more. Craft Beer and Independent Music have so many parallels, we figured that it was time someone made a shirt that explained one’s love for independent music and beer. Since we have yet to see a shirt that captures this message, we made one our selves. Brandon Proff did the design work. Available in Youth Large, Small, Medium, Large,XL, XXL, and XXXL. It’s a Brown shirt that will be more than likely on Gilden or Hanes. Not on American Apparel. We will have the shirts in stock on Thursday in time for our visit to this year’s Great American Beer Fest. We plan to have a crew wearing the shirt at GABF. Expect lots of photos and stories from our adventure.
