Call me lazy, call me tired (been rocking with Micah Schnabel all weekend and last night’s show with Jon Snodgrass and Chad Price had me otu way too late), I have decided that for Cyber Monday (what a dumb name), we have decided to extend our Black Friday coupon Codes for one more full day. The following codes will be good until Midnight tonight November 30th:

  • Spend over $25, get $5.00 off by entering BLACKFRI25 in checkout where it asks for Coupon Code
  • Spend over $50, get $15.00 off by entering BLACKFRI50 in checkout where it asks for Coupon Code
  • Spend over $100, get $35.00 off by entering BLACKFRI100 in checkout where it asks for Coupon Code
  • Spend over $250, get $100.00 off by entering BLACKFRI250 in checkout where it asks for Coupon Code

This sales starts now and ends at midnight Monday, November 30th 2009 Mountain Standard Time. The codes won’t work on Tuesday, December 1st.

There are still a number of out of print records in the store; if you haven’t found them, it might be worth another look.

Other things to know:

  • I took off all of the Used Vinyl Records for the weekend except for ones I posted from my own collection. I will put the Used Vinyl Records back up in the store on Tuesday, December 1st. The discounts we are offering are more than the percentage we make off of used vinyl.
  • A lot more sales are planned for after the weekend and will include our 12 days of Christmas (the first 12 days of Decemeber).
  • I highly recommend you take advantage of our Celebrate Their Entire Catalog, Suburban Home Digital for Life, and Warehouse Clearance Sales with these killer discounts.

Good luck and thanks for supporting what we do

I know I said midnight, but eating all day and drinking beer for a good part of the night has me more tired than I thought I would be so the sales will start now, an hour before I had planned. Remember, I have a lot of sales planned leading up to Christmas, but for Black Friday, we are gonna keep things really simple:

  • Spend over $25, get $5.00 off by entering BLACKFRI25 in checkout where it asks for Coupon Code
  • Spend over $50, get $15.00 off by entering BLACKFRI50 in checkout where it asks for Coupon Code
  • Spend over $100, get $35.00 off by entering BLACKFRI100 in checkout where it asks for Coupon Code
  • Spend over $250, get $100.00 off by entering BLACKFRI250 in checkout where it asks for Coupon Code

This sales starts now and ends at midnight Sunday, November 29th 2009 Mountain Standard Time. The codes won’t work on Monday, November 30th.

I put over 100 out of print or personal records in our store and suggest you give hints to people on the board to help them find them instead of just giving away all the finds. Of course if you buy a copy, you can share what record you bought with others.

I had a feeling that Jon and Frank would hit it off and from the looks of this video, they got along famously. This video shows Frank and Jon performing a song about an experience they had in Little Rock aptly titled, “Big Rock in Little Rock”. Enjoy.

I’d like to welcome back WannaBePunkTony. Today WannaBePunkTony has listed a number of records including records by Joe Strummer, Rza, Queers, Gorillaz, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Alkaline Trio, and more.

Things to know about our Used Vinyl Sales through Vinyl Collective:

  • If you click any of the items this seller is selling, you will find links to the other Used Records they have for sale.
  • It is in your best interest to purchase more than one item from a particular seller as there are shipping discounts for each additional item you purchase.
  • If you put a Used Record in your cart and you put a new record from Vinyl Collective in your cart, your shipping costs will be higher than you are used to as each seller is set up as a distribution center and therefor has their own shipping costs involved.
  • If you are interested in selling records through Vinyl Collective or want to find out more info about our Used Vinyl Sales, visit this link.

Thanks WannaBePunkTony for listing your records through Vinyl Collective.

Life is all about decisions and this Friday, November 27th, you could decide to wake up at 4am and go to the malls to fight crowds and traffic for low prices on whatever it is you want to buy for the holidays. OR you could stay up late, drink a bunch of beer, and shop from the convenience of your home by taking advantage of Black Friday deals at Vinyl Collective and Suburban Home. Just like we did last year, we will be posting some sales at Midnight on Thanksgiving, Mountain Standard Time. Here are some things to know about some of our plans for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the 12 days of Christmas:

  • At Midnight Mountain Standard Time on Thanksgiving night, we will announce a really huge sale and we will be posting around 100 out of print records.
  • This sale will start at Midnight Thanksgiving night and end at Sunday, November 29th, at Midnight. The sale will end on Monday, November 30th.
  • On Monday, November 30th, Cyber Monday, we will announce another sale.
  • Starting December 1st and ending on December 12th, we will post a new sale each day. This will be our 12 days of Christmas sale. For those of you around last year, you know we get pretty crazy.
  • We are not working on Thanksgiving day or Friday, November 27th. Please give us a little bit of slack come Monday as we will be coming back to work with full bellies and full inboxes.
  • Make sure you are aware of how you are having your orders shipped in the United States. Yes, Media Mail is the cheapest option, but if you are ordering something on December 12th and want it by Christmas, you might want to select UPS or Priority Mail.
  • We will be working and shipping out orders until December 21st, after that day, we will not be working again until Monday, January 4th.

That is all I can think of for now, but I am sure as the holidays get closer, we will have more to talk about. Good luck staying away from the crowds over the weekend. I am so excited to spend some down time with my family, see Minus the Bear tonight, see Micah Schnabel this weekend, and hopefully gonna watch Ninja Assassin with my brother. Have a great Thanksgiving weekend.
