ALKALINE TRIO “Crimson” dbl LP

Cobraside have again brought us a repress of an older Alkaline Trio title, this time, Crimson. The original U.S. pressing and the Import pressing were both pressed as single LPs originally, but this new pressing will be pressed as a double LP. The track listing we were given has 13 songs that clock in at 42:47. Crimson will be pressed on colored vinyl, but we do not know yet which color(s) we will be getting. If you pre-order more than one color, we will do our best to make sure you get more than one color.

As I mentioned with the Alexisonfire vinyl, this is expected by December 15th, but if you are concerned that your order be received by Christmas, I would order this separately as we tend to hold onto orders until all of the pre-ordered items are brought in.

The St. Catherines, Ontario-based band announce their fourth studio album, produced again by Julius “Juice” Butty (Protest The Hero, City And Colour). Even more intense and focused than before, the sound is bracingly rhythmic, shot through with a do-or-die vocal urgency and sharp harmonies.

Limited to only 333 copies, this blaring side project of vocalist Stefan Granberg of Sweden’s most prized punk band RANDY is sure to be the best punk 7″ of 2009. With help from our friends at NY VAG Records (Sweden) and P. TRASH Records (Germany) this album will finally see the light of day in North America courtesy of Machette on november 24th.

We actually just got this 7″ in stock today, should have them out the door by Wednesday before we take a long weekend off. Take a listen and if you like what you hear, please share the stream with others, and pick up the 7″. At only 333 pressed, it will be gone soon.
