For part 10 of our 12th Day of Xmas, we bring you 50 percent off of Grand Theft Autumn. While we only have 2 records from GTA, they are both great. If you don’t own Hey Mercedes or City on Film on vinyl, it is time you get it. We only have 2 copies of each in the store so this sale should be done before it starts. Where they might lack quantity, they make up for in Quality. With only 2 vinyl releases under their belt, you can’t ask for a much better start than Appleseed Cast and Ryan’s Hope. I like Sam at Goodcore quite a bit and am glad that he is taking part in this sale. Note that I don’t have very many copies of either title so get them while you can.

Part 8 of our 50 percent off extravaganza finds us discounting all of the Fail Safe Records’ titles and I encourage everyone to get caught up on their Anchor Arms’ collection. The band is great and I think they are a band to keep an eye out for in 2010. Not only will they be doing an Under the Influence 7″ for Suburban Home, but they will begin their recording career for Kiss of Death. Expect great things. Get in while you can and get these records for unheard of prices. I recommend starting with their album, but if you are gonna get that, you might as well get all of their titles. Everything is killer.

I don’t make statements like this often, but with this 7th part of our 12th day of Xmas sales, you have to take advantage of this deal if for only one record, for Bear Vs. Shark’s Terrorhawk. If you ask me, this record is absolutely essential. I could go on and on about how this band should have kept it going, but all i will say is that you should own this record and at $6.50, the price is right. Friction has put out a lot of great records from Russian Circles (oop) to Bear Vs Shark to Maps and Atlases, I highly recommend you check out their entire catalog. Note that their newest titles from Paucity and Victor! Fix the Sun are not being discounted.

Part 6 of our 12th day of xmas brings discounted records from Forge Again Records. Not all are 50 percent off, but many are. Those that are not are more recent titles like the newest Elder record which we just received. Justin at Forge Again has put out some really great records that span a number of genres and he always pays close attention to packaging. Get these records while you can as we do not have a deep stock of all of the titles.
