Thursday have revealed a new track off their upcoming full length, “No Devolución.” You can download the track, “No Answers” here. The vinyl version of “No Devolucion” will be a double LP with an etching on the fourth side. Pre order is up now.

According to their Wiki, Portugal The Man revealed at SXSW their new album will be out sometime in May. Although there is no official confirmation for this, we do know Portugal The Man will be re issuing, “Church Mouth” and “Waiter: You Vultures” on Vinyl. This is set to release May 10th and is available for pre order now. Also coming out May 10th will be a vinyl repress of “It’s Complicated Being a Wizard” as well as the CD version.

Despite a long legal battle between the label and Hank III, Curb Records have announced the release of a new Hank III album, “Hillbilly Joker” aka, “This Ain’t Country”. Hank handed in the album, “This Ain’t Country” in the early 2000′, which they refused to release. This fired the long lasting legal battles and hostility between Hank and the label. The album never saw the light of day until now. An online petition was also started asking Curb to release this record. It gained over 2,000 signatures. Read more…

Converge have announced a new split 7″ with Dropdead, which will be available at tour dates as well as through various retailers. Many of the tour dates are TBA, but will be happening in the USA in May / Early June and Europe in June. Converge have also begun writing and doing demos for a new album. No release date has been announced yet.

Rumor on the interweb is that Ryan Adams has begun working on a brand new album! As well, several Ryan Adams and Whiskeytown releases are expect this year on vinyl. His album, “Gold” came out on a clear, limited edition double LP in January and Whiskeytown’s, “Pneumonia” is expected out on April 12th, also on a double LP.
