Those who have followed Jason Shevchuk through Kid Dynamite and None More Black will love LaGrecia. I might be a bit biased, but I have no problem saying that this is Jason’s greatest project yet. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this album.

We are excited to bring you pre-orders for the first releases from a brand new label, Vega Vinyl. Vega was started by a very big supporter of Vinyl Collective and seeing him (Jordan) starting his own label is a very cool thing. I have a feeling that we will see many more cool vinyl labels starting over the next year which is really exciting. Vega brings to the table 2 very strong albums for release on wax.

I am really excited to see this Park album released. I have been a long time of the band that just never got the recognition they deserved. They released a number of great albums, toured their asses off, and for whatever reason, things just didn’t happen for them. Luckily the music will live on through this release which will be on 180 gram vinyl.

I don’t know as much about the Constants, but the description explains “With four songs clocking in at just under forty minutes, “The Murder of Tom Fitzgerril” features progressive, sprawling pieces that explore dissonant melody, odd-metered syncopations and rise-and-crash-dynamics.”

We are expecting copies of Constants in by the end of June, and copies of Park by the end of July. Here’s hoping that this is only the beginning for Vega and they will continue to bring us great records.

Just got word from Justin, head honcho of Underground Communique, that we can post a pre-order for his upcoming vinyl release for Capital’s “Homefront”. We are expecting to receive copies in early June. The pressing numbers are as following:

RIVER CITY REBELS “Keepsake of Luck” LP

Just got in the latest album by the River City Rebels, “Keepsake of Luck”. Former Victory punkers put out their latest album on Springman. This record claims to be 69 minutes so that is a lot of audio to fit on a single LP. The vinyl was pressed by Bermuda Mohawk Productions and they were kind enough to give us a test pressing for one lucky person. Every who purchases this record will be entered to win a copy of the test pressing.

After a conversation with a buddy of mine, Brett who runs Amp Magazine, we decided to do a really cool contest for the In the Red vinyl. First of All, besides Brett from Amp, this band has Mike Hale from Gunmoll. I know that a lot of you are going to dig this as it fits somewhere in the middle of Leatherface, Planes Mistaken for Stars, and Hot Water Music. The record rips!

So Kiss of Death has been so kind to not only offer a test pressing contest, but we will also be having a contest where you can win all 4 colors of this release (the 2 mentioned above, a blue, and a grey which only 16 were pressed) and another person will win a t-shirt and a copy of the record. My good buddy Zach did a little research on Bronx related projects and told me to get in touch with Basement Records. Basement have put out a lot of vinyl for Bullet Treatment which has had a member from the Bronx. Sounds like the lineup is ever changing, but it sounds like it would be right up the alley of any Bronx fan.

After getting in touch with Basement, they not only sent us their catalog, but they are allowing us to set up a pre-order for their upcoming split 7″ between Bullet Treatment and It’s Casual.
