We are excited to bring you pre-orders for the first releases from a brand new label, Vega Vinyl. Vega was started by a very big supporter of Vinyl Collective and seeing him (Jordan) starting his own label is a very cool thing. I have a feeling that we will see many more cool vinyl labels starting over the next year which is really exciting. Vega brings to the table 2 very strong albums for release on wax.

I am really excited to see this Park album released. I have been a long time of the band that just never got the recognition they deserved. They released a number of great albums, toured their asses off, and for whatever reason, things just didn’t happen for them. Luckily the music will live on through this release which will be on 180 gram vinyl.

I don’t know as much about the Constants, but the description explains “With four songs clocking in at just under forty minutes, “The Murder of Tom Fitzgerril” features progressive, sprawling pieces that explore dissonant melody, odd-metered syncopations and rise-and-crash-dynamics.”

Vega have been so kind as to offer us test pressings for both releases. Your purchase of each release will enter you for a chance to win the test pressing.

We are expecting copies of Constants in by the end of June, and copies of Park by the end of July. Here’s hoping that this is only the beginning for Vega and they will continue to bring us great records.

Just got word from Justin, head honcho of Underground Communique, that we can post a pre-order for his upcoming vinyl release for Capital’s “Homefront”. We are expecting to receive copies in early June. The pressing numbers are as following:

I am declaring this Bomb the Music Industry day! Why you ask? Well we just got the ok to get more copies of upcoming Yellow vinyl version of Album Minus Band so we now have more sets of both colors to sell. Asbestos also let me know that in about a month, we will have some copies of the 2nd pressing of “Goodbye Cool World” on Black/Green vinyl. And to top all of that off, we just got in an order from Asian Man and when Justin was checking in the copies of “Get Warmer”, he noticed that the copies were on the pictured Clear w/ Blue Splatter which looks absolutely bad ass. I called up Asian Man and said “What the Hell Bro?” and it looks like they now have copies on this color. We only have 20 right now, but we will have another 100 copies coming in next week! Get them while you can.

One of Vinyl Collective’s most beloved bands will soon be releasing another album on wax. These songs represent some of the first tracks written after the end of Arrogant Sons of Bitches before Bomb the Music Industry become Bomb the Music Industry. The 500 pressing is divided into a 150 pressing on yellow and 350 on blue. We are only getting 15 copies on yellow which can be purchased by getting both colors. Good luck getting those. You know the deal with BTMI vinyl, these will go really fast.

I just wanted to make a quick post to let you know that we got the green light from Mike Park to post 20 more black vinyl for Mike Hale. Get them while you can. The first 20 sold in one night. Also, mike has agreed to offer up a test pressing for one lucky purchaser of this release. Good luck. We will announce the winner in June when we get the vinyl in.

We just got the green light to set up a pre-order for Mike hale’s debut album. We have been talking about Mike a bit lately since we recently posted a pre-order for his latest project In the Red. Mike Hale is also known for fronting Gunmoll who put out a number of incredible recordings. The pressing info for this album is 100 on Black, 200 on White. We have a handful of copies black coming in, but they will go fast.

We should have copies in June.

Teenage Bottlerocket “Warning Device” LP

I am so fucking stoked right now. Not only did I see the band play in Denver last night where they ripped through a completely kick ass set, but today I just found out that we can begin selling copies of “Warning Device” on Vinyl Collective. The album is on a gatefold jacket and the pressing is 1,000 copies. The band said they were all on black vinyl, but my distributor said that he thought they were on color. Regardless, the entire pressing is the same so back to the point of this, WARNING DEVICE will be on vinyl soon! We are only getting 200 copies of this (trying to get more) so if you even kind of want this record, you better pick it up before the weekend is over. I expect these to go really, really fast.

Ray from Bottlerocket said he would have some really cool things to do give away to one lucky purchaser of the record (more on that after I talk to him). Also, the band is currently recording their side of the split with the Ergs!. The first person who can guess what song they are covering will win a copy of of “Warning Device”.  Good luck!

As mentioned before, Sargent House, is repressing Russian Circle’s debut album, “Enter”. As you can tell from the above image, there is all new artwork on this new pressing. Also exclusive to this pressing is a poster that will be packaged with the record. Silver with Black Splatter is the only color on this new pressing.

We are expecting copies towards the end of May.

After a conversation with a buddy of mine, Brett who runs Amp Magazine, we decided to do a really cool contest for the In the Red vinyl. First of All, besides Brett from Amp, this band has Mike Hale from Gunmoll. I know that a lot of you are going to dig this as it fits somewhere in the middle of Leatherface, Planes Mistaken for Stars, and Hot Water Music. The record rips!

So Kiss of Death has been so kind to not only offer a test pressing contest, but we will also be having a contest where you can win all 4 colors of this release (the 2 mentioned above, a blue, and a grey which only 16 were pressed) and another person will win a t-shirt and a copy of the record. So there will be 3 winners.
