Jimmy Eat World Vinyl Reissues – Pre Order Now Clarity, Futures, Static Prevails

SRCvinyl has announced they are set to reissue three classic Jimmy Eat World titles on vinyl. These titles include a 180 Gram colored pressing for Static Prevails, Clarity and Futures. Each album will receive an audiophile level treatment with premium packaging. All three titles were remastered and had their lacquers cut by Kevin Gray. The three albums were then pressed on 180 Gram vinyl at Pallas in Germany. As if that wasn’t enough, all three albums include a bonus track or two! This is the first time Static Prevails has been pressed on vinyl since it was released in 1996. The original pressing was a single LP with a bonus 7″. The reissue pressing will see the album as a double LP including the bonus tracks, as well as deluxe gatefold packing. This reissue will also mark the first time the original artwork has been used for a vinyl release.

Jimmy Eat World – Clarity 2XLP Details
Clarity was pressed twice on vinyl – first pressing in 1999 released by Big Wheel Production and then again by Capitol in 2009. The first pressing contained no bonus tracks, while  the reissue 2009 reissue contained two bonus tracks, “Christmas Card” and “Sweetness” placed on the C-Side between tracks “Clarity” and “Goodbye Sky Harbor”. The SRCvinyl version includes the two bonus tracks from the 2009 reissue, however they are placed at the end of the album (after “Goodbye Sky Harbor”) which maintains the flow of the original record. Likewise, the SRCvinyl version features slightly different artwork than the previous versions and the gatefold will be matte with a spot uv.

Jimmy Eat World – Futures 2XLP Details
Futures was pressed on vinyl upon its release in 2004 as a double LP with a D-Side etching. The album contained a bonus track called “Shame” which is also included on the SRCvinyl release. However, the SRCvinyl version places “Shame” at the end of the album unlike the original which placed it near the middle (between “Polaris” and “Nothingwrong”). As well, there is no D-side etching on the SRCvinyl version, instead tracks are spanned across all four sides. The original version was housed in a gatefold jacket where as the SRCvinyl reissue will feature expanded artwork in a triple panel matte gatefold jacket with a spot UV.
