Too often I see many new record collectors purchase a portable Crosley when for just a small amount more you can purchase an Audio Technica AT-LP60, the lowest priced record player on our best turntables list. The Audio Technica AT-LP60 is a quality built,  fully automatic belt-drive turntable. Yes, you require some sort of speaker or headphone set up, whereas Crosley’s contain built-in speakers. However the sound difference you will experience makes a HUGE difference. If you are serious about getting into the vinyl hobby or intend on listening to records often, it is well worth spending the extra money to acquire the Audio Technica LP60.

The LP60 is also available in a USB model, which for an extra $30 (approximately) includes USB output to allow you to convert your vinyl to digital. Recently Audio Technica also released an AT-LP60BT model which provides all the features of the AT-LP60 but also includes Bluetooth. The Bluetooth feature allows you to store up to 8 bluetooth speakers or headphones. The Bluetooth models are available in three colors: Black, White and Blue.
