An Interview With The Gamits’ Scott Weigel [Small Doggies]

A really good friend of mine, Matt Ferner, conducted an interview over email with The Gamits’ bassist and back-up vocalist, Scott Weigel from Denver, CO, from where The Gamits originate. I recommend everyone take the time to read the in depth interview that covers the band’s return, playing punk rock, influences, future plans, favorite albums, and there is also lots of talk about Iron Maiden (a subject Matt and Scott could probably write a book about). When you read this interview, you really pick up on the fact that Matt took a lot of time to ask good questions and Scott reciprocated by spending a lot of time to answer the questions.

A few things to note about the upcoming vinyl release of “Parts”, the Gamits new album
Stream the album on the Gamits bandcamp page (you can buy the album digitally straight from the band)
Or Stream the album on Punknews.org
The album is ever bit as good as anything they have done before and I might even go further by saying it could be their best album.

Buy the record:
Suburban Home/Gamits exclusive Plaid colored vinyl (only 30 copies remain)
“Parts” CD from Suburban Home
Paper and Plastick pre-order for their colors and for the CD

Thanks Matt, thanks Scott.
