Kickstarter: The Indie Cred Test Presented by Chunklet Magazine
While I know many of you have mixed feelings about Kickstarter, I think that in certain instances, it is really great way to fund your project. Take for example, the Indie Cred Test, a book in development by the folks at Chunklet. They have produced a rather hilarious video explaining their need for funds to publish The Indie Cred Test. Even if you don’t end up funding the project, you have to watch the video. It made me laugh more than a few times.
So the publishers who typically work with Chunklet didn’t seem to want to publish this latest book so the crew at Chunklet decided to publish it themselves and have asked for anyone interested to help fund the project.
Not only does the book sound interesting and it is being published by people who have a great sense of humor, certain pledge thresholds come with a 7″ by Fucked Up. I’m told that the only way to get this 7″ is through this Kickstarter campaign.
Check out the embedded video or just skip to the kickstarter page to see the video and if you are feeling like supporting their project, fund it. With 21 days to go, they are over half way funded. It doesn’t hurt that the video is shot in front of a wall of records!

Hey Virgil. Thanks for your kind words. Thanks for that. I just want you and your readers to know that the 7″ (possibly a 12″ now) will be available independent of the KS campaign. However, the KS edition of the record will be a special color or a special sleeve or something. KS contribs will be rewarded.
But again, thanks!
