MUSTARD PLUG “In Black & White” LP grey marble vinyl

MUSTARD PLUG “In Black & White” LP grey marble vinyl

I have known the Mustard Plug guys for over 10 years now. When I was working at Hopeless Records in 97/98, Hopeless had just signed Mustard Plug and was setting up to release Evildoers Beware. At that point, I think I was pretty done with ska after having been burnt from the oversaturation of zany ska-punk bands of the mid 90’s. When I did finally listen to Evildoers, I did so with jaded ears. That said, I ended up liking the record quite a bit and every time Mustard Plug would come to town, they would just tear the roof off of whatever venue they were playing. They had so much energy and so much fun, it was impossible not to have a good time. Dave, the singer, and actually the entire band are all nice guys and it is great to see them doing well after so many  years. Mustard Plug self-released the vinyl for “In Black and White” and I don’t know what took us so long to get in copies, but we finally have it in stock. Get a copy if you haven’t already done so and make sure you get the latest under the influence with them and Bomb the Music Industry who are both on tour as we speak.
