Look Mexico performs on Austin Live
Yesterday, Look Mexico performed live on Austin Live to promote their show tonight which finds them along with 143 other artists playing shows to benefit HAAM (HEALTH ALLIANCE FOR AUSTIN MUSICIANS) which helps provide low cost health insurance for professional musicians that live in Austin, Texas. If you live in Austin, make sure you go and see Look Mexico and the other artists performing for HAAM.
The performance is great and the introduction from the newscaster while awkward is great, too. He seems to be a little uncertain about a performance at Run-Tex, but regardless, you should watch the video (even if it is on the tiniest video player I have ever seen). If anyone finds embeddable code, please post a comment. There has to be better viewable video out there.
Another reason why Austin, Texas, rules. If anyone has extra time, I don’t see a better way to utilize that time than to start a similar chapter in their town to help musicians receive affordable health insurance.
