I had the great pleasure of watching William Elliott Whitmore perform at the Bluebird Theater this past Sunday night. He is touring with City and Colour who joined him for the performance you see above. It was great seeing him for the first time and this song with City and Colour was a nice surprise. If you get the opportunity to see Will on this tour, do yourself an absolute favor and go see him play.
If you haven’t pre-ordered his new album, I recommend doing so. The new album is great and those songs live are amazing. We shot a video of “Old Devils” from the new album.

I went to go see this, but when I got to the venue the line to get in was wrapped around the block and the women was saying the show was sold out. The doors were open and I already had my ticket, so stood in line for about 20 minutes. But when I’d only moved about 5 feet in that 20 minutes I said fuck it and left. It was way too cold to stand outside for another half hour, plus sold out shows there kind of suck anyway since you can’t walk around much.
I didn’t know city and colour was that popular. I’ve seen wew a few times though so it’s cool I guess.
