Cobra Skulls (12-3-08) – I got in touch with the Cobra Skulls after being contacted by Andrew Jackson Jihad to do an Under the Influence 7″. AJJ asked us if we would be interested which we responded, “Fuck Yeah”. When thinking about a good band to share the split with, The Cobra Skulls came up. I tracked those guys down and they were down. I tried to convince the Cobra Skulls to record and Black and Bluhm (in Denver while on tour), but they said they just were not ready yet. Instead, they stopped by the office and posed for this photo. We talked a bit as they had just experienced that gnarly Van/trailer accident while in Nebraska. The guys are all lucky to be alive and we are all lucky that they will live to play another day. I am excited for the Under the Influence and I am excited that at some point soon, it looks very likely that we will be putting their Red Scare album out on vinyl! Great band, nice guys.
